Kot vidite, ima TECH3 rezervirano še eno mesto. Torej bodo imeli 2 dirkača :hmm: Najbrž bo Carlos Checa. Žalosti me, da je samo 20+1 voznikov. Bom rajš gledo 125ccm, kjer jih je 40+; je bolj zanimivo :P Pa tam se morajo vsaj borit, da dobijo kakšno točko. V motoGP pa glavno, da do konca prideš, ker 5 jih ponavadi ziher ne dokonča dirke, pa včasih še kdo štarta ne, in glej, že imaš par točk v žepu.

Če si mogoče opazil sem ponavadi nalepil listo, ko se zgodijo spremembe tako, da se vidi kdo naj bi bil pr kateri ekipi, če pa vas moti pa lahko brez težav opustim to. ;)

To niso moje izjave, so od ljudi ki tam delajo, sicer Corser je zanikal da bi lahko to bila ovira za prihod Biaggia v Suzuki,ampak če se tolko piše o tej Mitsubishijevi elektroniki verjetno da nekaj je...

Carlos Checa ponovno pri Tech3 Yamahi! B)

Carlos Checa confirmed this Tuesday that he will be given the opportunity to once again compete in MotoGP this season. His signing for Hervé Poncharal´s Yamaha Tech 3 Team will come as a welcome relief for both the rider and his fans.

The Catalan rider has closed the book on nearly a month of uncertainty and speculation. At the start of the year, with Sito Pons´ late decision to pull out of this year´s World Championship, Checa found himself without a team and with a tough task ahead of him if he wished to continue in the premier class. Finally, due to the collaboration of a number of factors-especially the efforts of Yamaha and Dunlop-the situation was resolved favourably.

“After three weeks marred by doubt, tension and many talks, I can now confirm that I will take part to the next edition of the MotoGP World Championship, riding a Dunlop-shod Yamaha for the Tech3 team,” said Checa. “This announcement put an end to an odd winter, but I end up with an interesting project and a guaranteed spot on the grid for 2006. We were eventually able to turn around a complicated situation, but it's only the beginning of a new challenge that I take up with a huge motivation.”

“I must thank Hervé Poncharal, the Tech3 team manager, for his confidence, and also Yamaha and Dunlop for their support. Yamaha is supporting me again after a year 'out' and personally, I feel like I'm coming back home. I'm pleased to have this opportunity to ride the most competitive bike of the field.”

“Dunlop also trust me and I thank them for that. We'll have a lot of work obviously, to be as competitive as possible and from my experience I know that the tyres are a key-element of the package, but I'm pretty confident and fully trust Dunlop's engineers and technicians. Working hard with them and the team, we'll all do our best to get the best possible results. Anyway, it's not time to talk about goals and targets - for now it's all about getting back to work as soon as possible.”

The Spaniard, in the saddle of an M1 kitted out with Dunlop tyres, becomes the teammate of Brit James Ellison, completing Poncharal´s squadron for this season. His debut with his new team could be as soon as next week, when the Yamaha teams will undertake three days of testing in Qatar.

Checa wanted to end his statement by emphasising the important changes that his sporting career has undergone in such a short space of time. “Four months ago I was riding a Ducati with Bridgestone: two months later I got on a Honda with Michelins and now, for the 2006 season, I´m running with a Yamaha on Dunlops. The most direct and effective way to show my gratitude for the confidence and support of everyone will be to work tirelessly to have a good season”

Valentino Rossi se bo ta teden pridružil večini dirkačev iz sveta Formule 1 na skupnih testiranjih v Valencii.

Že danes se je Italijan pridružil Scuderii Ferrarija kjer bo testiral njihov dirkalnik. Sedemkratni svetovni motociklistični prvak si bo delil garažo in boxe s sedemkratnim svetovnim prvakom Schumacherjem ter novincem Filipejem Masso.

Rossi, ki je že prej testiral Ferrarija bo tokrat prvič imel priložnost da se dokaže med F1 elito.

Osem ekip je že potrdilo prisotnost na testiranjih v Španiji, ki je organizirano le 5 tednov pred prvo dirko svetovnega prvenstva v letu 2006.

Po končanih testiranjih, bo Valentino odletel naravnos v Quatar, kjer se bo kar najbolje pripravil za naovo sezono motociklistov za svetovno prvenstvo, kjer bo naskakoval osmi naslov svetovnega prvaka.

Rossi spins out on opening lap!

Reigning MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi was finally given the opportunity to take to the Valencia circuit for Ferrari late on Tuesday afternoon - following earlier rain delays - only to spin and stall his F2004 (V10 powered) machine half a lap later!

Rossi was apparently caught off guard by the notoriously 'slippery when damp' Valencia surface shortly after being passed by new Honda driver Rubens Barrichello, prompting the harmless - but rather embarrassing - spin by the seven-times motorcycling world champion.

The Italian's stricken car had to be collected by a tow truck (top pic), while Rossi was given a lift back to the pits before explaining his downfall to the waiting Ferrari engineers (middle pic).

Rossi has a history of accidents when making debuts and will hope that - as on other occasions - he is able to quickly bounce back. The Valencia test marks Rossi's fourth outing in a Ferrari Formula One car, but his first with other teams and drivers present.

Italian MotoGP refugee Max Biaggi will not be racing an Alstare Corona Suzuki in the 2006 World Superbike Championship, according to a release on the team’s website.

The release, issued by the team in reaction to speculation about their 2006 lineup, doesn’t mention Biaggi among the riders who will contest the championship. It says the official team will be 2005 World Superbike Champion Troy Corser and Yukio Kagayama, with Fabien Foret on the Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra Italy team on an “unofficial GSX-R1000 Suzuki prepared by Team Alstare.” Belgian Xavier Simeon will contest the Superstock 600cc Championship.

An Italian website, www.gpone.it, said that Biaggi would make his World Superbike debut at the Monza round of the championship on May 7. It also said Biaggi could occasionally test the Midland F1 car, which he recently drove at Silverstone, as the team’s third test driver on the Friday of GP weekends.

Biaggi has yet to confirm his plans on his personal website, www.maxbiaggi.com.
