iz Crash.neta: mešani občutki v Suzukijevem taboru pred dirko v Quatarju... kaže da je bila odločitev da letos dobi Max "pravi" tovarniški motor (lani je vozil s prejšnjim modelom) zares odlična poteza, upam da jo bo Maxu uspelo izkoristiti!!!

ja nč, bo treba gledat, menda se prenosi na Eurosportu začnejo jutri ob 08:40 - haha, sezona dirk se je začela!!!

One rider happy, one philosophical and the other frustrated in Suzuki Alstare camp after mixed Superpole in Qatar.

Max Neukirchner gave Team Suzuki Alstare reasons to be cheerful by planting his GSX-R1000 K8 on the front row of the starting grid in Qatar, but team-mate Fonsi Nieto found himself struck down by his usual ‘problem'.

Neukirchner produced a superb lap to seal fourth on the grid around the Losail International Circuit, improving considerably on his earlier practice and qualifying performances as he pulled out all the stops during the 16-rider shoot-out to claim the final front row starting spot.

“I'm very happy with my Superpole lap and getting on the front row of the grid,” the young German enthused afterwards. “Today my bike worked very well on the Superpole lap and whenever I tried a really soft tyre, but it didn't work so well when I tried to do a long run.

“Now we will look at all the data and telemetry, and see if we can adjust the bike so that it works as well in a race distance. I hope we can find out what to do so that I can run with the top guys throughout the race, but whatever happens, this has been a very good start and that makes me happy.”

The 24-year-old's team-mates Yukio Kagayama and Fonsi Nieto wound up slightly further down the eventual timesheets in eighth and eleventh places, respectively three tenths and just under a second shy of Neukirchner's effort. Both are well aware that good starts in Saturday's two 18-lap races will be pivotal.

“My Superpole was a bit of mixture,” Kagayama reflected, “but it should have been so much better. On my ‘out' lap I felt some vibration in my rear tyre, and that made it a little difficult to concentrate fully on riding as fast as I wanted. It was a problem in many corners and then, to make matters worse, I made a bit of a mistake with the throttle exiting the last corner and lost some more time.

“The second row is not so bad though and, as long as I make a good start, I think I can get a good result here. My race set-up is pretty ok, though we may make a small adjustment to the electronics in the warm-up tomorrow morning to see if we can improve the bike.

“I don't think anybody has done a really long run here, so tyre choice and tyre conservation will be critical. I think the winner will be the rider who conserves his tyres best and is the most consistent in the race.”

“I guess my problem in Superpole is... Superpole,” rued Nieto, who had blitzed the field in opening practice but has since progressively fallen backwards as the meeting has progressed. “For some reason I never go as well in Superpole as I do in practice and qualifying. That has caused me problems in the past, and now I need to find a way around this problem and learn how to attack Superpole in the best way.

“The problem with a bad Superpole is that you end up way down the grid, and that means you have to push very hard in the early part of the race. That wears the tyres out quicker, which means they are in not such good condition at the end of the race.

“Today I tried a qualifier in practice, but I got so much chatter from it that I could not use it in Superpole. Instead I used a very soft race tyre [like many other riders] and tried to do my best. It's going to be a long hard day tomorrow, but I am determined to give everything I've got to get some good results.”

ej lepo da si dal link, ker Eurosportu kljub napovedi ne prenaša dirke (kaj so pesjani!!!), ampak meni tole vse neki šteka... pa n vem al mam prepočasn ADSL al nas samo preveč gleda...

Naj nardijo za Ducati posebej klaso, ker tole res ne vodi nikamor, že na prvi dirki.....sem čist razočaran....

Haga se je zgodil sam sebi... škoda... mar bi nazaj prehitel Mad Maxa, ne pa da sam sebe jezno zbije z motorja :unsure:

Naj nardijo za Ducati posebej klaso, ker tole res ne vodi nikamor, že na prvi dirki.....sem čist razočaran....

hej, saj te razumem, ampak bv da se razburjaš... saj so revčki, po svoje, vidiš da lahko samo na ta način še kdaj zmagajo... evo, v drugi dirki jim tud vse te prednosti niso pomagale... meni se bolj smilijo kot jezijo

Mislim, da Ducati nima nobene prednosti zaradi kubikov razen te, da bo motor ceneje vzdrževati, ker je v prejšnih sezonah z manj kubiki imel dovoljenje za veliko večje posege agregata medem, ko jih sedaj nima več. Lahko tudi naredite primerjavo med japonci in ducatije v konjih in teži pa boste videli, da praktično ni razlike.

Mislim, da Ducati nima nobene prednosti zaradi kubikov razen te, da bo motor ceneje vzdrževati, ker je v prejšnih sezonah z manj kubiki imel dovoljenje za veliko večje posege agregata medem, ko jih sedaj nima več. Lahko tudi naredite primerjavo med japonci in ducatije v konjih in teži pa boste videli, da praktično ni razlike.

točno tako- bili so razpoloženi drugače pa Suzuki še vedno vse prešiša na ravnini

pa mislm da je tud komentator reku da je Duče kar 6kg težji- al sm pa jz narobe slišu (?)

drgač pa ducati je čist vidno premočen.. če so do 2 do 6ga mesta sami ducatji....

še dobr da fonzi s suzukijem poštimu tk k je treba

Samo tole ne bo več verjetno, lani je tud bla prva dirka free of charge v živo ali posnetki, pol so pa use dali pod geslo oz. je blo treba plačat....

upam, da sicer ne bo, ampak težko verjetno :)

Ful dobra dirka.Komentator je neki komentiral da bodo Ducatiju za kazen dali dodatno obtežitev, 3kg se mi zdi. Ne vem al je to resno mislil al se je zaj.

No ma bo še zanimivo.
