Zdravo svima,

ovim bi htio najaviti da je (najzad) poceo organizirani moto-turizam i u Makedoniji.

Prva tura je zakazana krajem 4-tog mjeseca, a uskoro ce biti i dodatnih programa...

Zasad oni koji bi htijeli ucestvovati trebaju doci vlastitim motorima, ali uskoro bice na raspolaganju i ergela novi-novcatih motocikli za rentanje.

Ove godine ture su u suradnju sa turistickom agencijom koja je jedina u Makedoniji specijalizovanu za alternativni turizam- Macedonia Travel
Organiziramo dvije 6-dnevne ture (5 nocenja), a ruta vodi kroz istocni, južni, centralni i zapadni dio Makedonije.
U ovom trenutku je strana u izradnji, ali za koji dan možete pogledati detalje na web strani agencije.

MOTO TOUR MACEDONIA


DAY 1: Skopje

Meeting in the hotel in Skopje at 16:00h. Welcome dink by Macedonia travel guide with introduction in the upcoming adventure in Macedonia. Sightseeing of Skopje on foot: we start at Mother Teresa memorial house, and through the main city square with the numerous monuments built for Skopje 2014 project, over the Stone Bridge to the old part of the city in the maze of cobblestoned streets of the Old Bazaar with the Ottoman heritage: mosques, Turkish baths turned into galleries, old inns and many art craft shops. Dinner in a restaurant in the Old bazaar. Overnight in hotel in Skopje.

DAY 2: SKOPJE – St JOAKIM OSOGOVSKI - STONE DOLLS VALLEY –KOCHANI LAKE – BEROVO (305km)

09:00 After breakfast departure from Skopje. A day for East Macedonia – you will be riding up the Osogovo mountains by the Bulgarian border to the monastery complex of St Joakim Osogovski; hear the essentials about Macedonian Orthodox religion and traditions, have a short break in the monastery restaurant under the old elm, and continue to the Valley of Stone Dolls near Kratovo. Next: lunch in a restaurant by Gradche Lake near Kochani. After the lunch we’ll continue to Berovo, a small picturesque town in the cleanest area not only in Macedonia, but in the whole territory of ex-Yugoslavia, placed in Maleshevo mountains. Accommodation in the hotel in Berovo, and transfer to a sheepfold in the mountains for traditional dinner made of organic and eco-products of Maleshevo region. Overnight in hotel in Berovo.

DAY 3: BEROVO – VELJUSA MONASTERY – DOJRAN LAKE – STOBI - DEMIR KAPIJA
(Macedonian wine area) (220km)

09:00 After breakfast, walking tour of the town with visit of local art crafts: weaver, woodcarver, metalworker with introduction in the original craft,which is still alive in some parts of Macedonia. Coffee break with honey tasting by Berovo Lake, and we leave Berovo continuing to Strumica, and to Veljusa monastery, with the church, a real Byzantine masterpiece built in 11th century, completely preserved today. Lunch will be by Dojran Lake, traditionally prepared Dojran fish on reed. After lunch departure to Stobi archeological site, the city founded at the sunset of the Ancient Macedonian Kingdom. Arrival in the evening in Demir Kapija (the Iron Gate) placed in the wine-area of Macedonia. Wine producing has been traditional in Macedonia since ancient times. The mild climate and plenty of sunny days give unique taste to the Macedonian wines, made of high quality grapes, such as Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vranec. Accommodation in a winery hotel. Introduction in the process of wine production and tour of the winery cellars. Dinner with wine-tasting (5 wines) and overnight in the winery hotel.

DAY 4: DEMIR KAPIJA – PRILEP – KRUSHEVO – PELISTER – OHRID (280KM)

After breakfast we leave to Prilep. Short break in the Old Town of Prilep, and continue to Krushevo, the highest town in Macedonia with preserved traditional architecture which makes it a town-museum. After the walk through Krushevo cobblestoned streets and cafes, we continue to Pelister National Park for a tasty village lunch in one of the villages at the foothills of Mt Baba. Departure to Ohrid over Galichica National Park. Late afternoon visit of St Naum monastery complex by the springs of river Crn Drim flowing into Ohrid Lake. Accommodation in hotel in Ohrid. Dinner in a restaurant on the shore of Ohrid Lake. Overnight in Ohrid, (UNESCO World Heritage town, the birthplace of the Cyrillic script and home to 365 orthodox churches and ancient Roman ruins).

DAY 5: OHRID - KALISHTA – VEVCHANI – GLOBOCHICA – MAVROVO – SKOPJE (250KM)

We leave Ohrid in the morning and drive along the coast to Kalishta to visit the cave churches in the rocks above Ohrid Lake, home to some of the greatest medieval paintings in Macedonia dating back to 14th century. Further departure to Vevchani village, break by the springs, and continue to Globochica Lake, where we’ll be transferred by rafts to the small hospitable village on the other side of the lake. Lunch in a local restaurant – traditional game specialties. In the afternoon we’ll continue the tour around National Park Mavrovo, ride along the coast of Mavrovo Lake and visit one of the masterpieces in woodcarving in Macedonia – the iconostasis in church St John Bigorski. Arrival in Skopje in the evening. Accommodation in hotel in Skopje, and join the dinner-party in the “Biker’s place”. Overnight in Skopje

After breakfast departure from Skopje.

DAY 1 & 5

The hotel in Skopje (3***) is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood of the residential area of the capital, still close to the city center. All of the rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with
mini bar, direct phone line, private bathroom, cable LCD TV, private safe box, and free internet connection. Guests have at disposal private parking with 24hours security, a cozy breakfast restaurant and summer terrace.

DAY 2

The hotel complex in Berovo has three wings comprising 10 apartments and 27 rooms, a restaurant, a restaurant terrace, a seminar room, a VIP lounge, SPA facilities, two summer terraces, “chardak”, sporting facilities, children’s park and a monitored parking lot. All the apartments and rooms are equipped with direct telephone line, mini bar, cable TV, free of charge wireless internet connection, bathroom with toilet, and most of them (excluding only a few) have balconies overseeing the fabulous landscape. The apartments and the rooms are not air conditioned because the climate is such that there is no need for that.

DAY 3

The Winery Hotel offers unique experience to its guests with its distinct 4 suites and 7 rooms, each carefully named after, and decorated in the colors of the wine type they represent. Each is equipped with telephone and internet connection, air conditioning and balcony giving view to the breathtaking surroundings – true enjoyment for nature lovers.

DAY 4

Located on only 200m from the city center, on the shores of Lake Ohrid, hotel in Ohrid offers beautiful air-conditioned rooms with balconies and view over the lake, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, mini bar and work desk. Their spa area features a jacuzzi, sauna, a steam bath, and fitness centre. Free secured parking is offered on site.

Mene je ena makedonska skupina bajkerjev septembra 2010 skoraj snela s ceste. Ko sem se vozil okoli Mavrovskega jezera iz smeri Tetova proti Debru in Ohridu, je prišla skupina nasproti. Arogantno policijsko moto spremstvo pa je rinilo vse živo s ceste tudi čez sredino nasprotnega pasu. Idiot policijski se je skoraj zabil vame. Sama sreča, da sem vozil blizu bankine.

 

Pa še nekaj. Cena za tistih nekaj dni čez 400 € je prenapihnjena. V lastnem aranžmaju se za enako namestitev in pot da priti skoz tudi pod 200 €.
