Pre-ship information indicates that Mazda RX-8 price will offer a choice of two rotary power plants, but the the 2004 Mazda RX-8 price will not differ by much. The high performance rotary engine that will power one of the two models will generate 247 horsepower at 8,500 rpm with a redline of 9,000. The lower performance power plant develops 207 horsepower at 7,200 rpm and redlines at 7,200 rpm. Since there is no reciprocating vibration in a Wankel engine, the engine runs very smoothly, even turbine-like. This affords the 2004 Mazda RX-8 driver an exceptionally smooth ride and thrilling acceleration. Once you have driven a Wankel, you don't want to go back to the reciprocating piston engine.

Začetek prodaje novega modela Mazda RX-8

V podjetja MMS d.o.o., ki na slovenskem trgu zastopa vozila znamke Mazda, so

kjub velikemu svetovnemu povpraševanju za Mazdin novi edinstveni športni model

Mazda RX-8 z rotacijskim motorjem in štirimi vrati, uspeli za slovenski trg

zagotoviti omejeno število vozil že za letošnje leto.

Tako lahko najbolj neučakani kupci prva vozila prevzamejo že decembra letos.

Vsi tisti, ki se bodo odločili za nakup do konca poletja in prevzem nove Mazde

RX-8 že letos, bodo nagrajeni z garancijo tolarske cene.

Na razpolago so samo modeli z močnejšim motorjem (231 KM) in sicer z tremi

različnimi stopnjami opreme. Model Mazda RX-8 Revolution ima sledečo serijsko

opremo: štiri varnostne blazine za voznika in sovoznika ter okenske varnostne

blazine za vse štiri potnike, ABS, DSC+TCS, avtomatska klimatska naprava,

Xenonski žarometi z napravo za pranje, meglenke, električni pomik prednjih

stekel, električno pomična in ogrevana zunanja ogledala, BOSE avdio sistem z

izmenjevalcem za 6 zgoščenk, 18 palčna alu platišča, usnjen volan in prestavna

ročica, itd... Mazda RX-8 Revolution je lahko vaša že za 7.906.000 SIT. Model

Mazda RX-8 Revolution L ima dodatno še usnje na sedežih in ogrevana prednja

sedeža. Cena za skoraj popolno opremljen model znaša 8.260.000 SIT. Najbolje

opremljen model pa so pri Mazdi poimenovali Mazda RX-8 Revolution C in ima

dodatno vgrajen DVD navigacijski sistem in električno pomično strešno okno. Ta

popolnoma opremljen model lahko dobite za 8.968.000 SIT.

Pri MMS d.o.o. opozarjajo, da se je vrsta čakajočih kupcev že začela daljšati,

zato bo potrebno za letošnji nakup Mazde RX-8 kar pohiteti.

Se opravičujem za zgornji post. Skratka, padec iz stola in grabljenje za tipkovnico. Najlepši kupe do zdaj po mojem. Videl sem pa rumenega v LJ. Takrat sem padel iz kolesa ;)

The Renesis is Mazda’s next-generation rotary engine that was launched in early 2003 in the all-new Mazda RX-8. It delivers high power output for a naturally aspirated engine of its size and demonstrates significantly improved fuel economy and reduced emissions compared with previous generation rotary engines.

Now, as the auto industry’s attention turns to hydrogen as a potential source of power for fuel cell vehicles, Mazda confidently presents a realistic example of its hydrogen-power technology, embodied in the hydrogen-powered version of the Renesis. Fun to drive and environmentally sound, the Renesis Hydrogen Rotary Engine is a Mazda-unique alternative-fuel vehicle. It is the ultimate demonstration of the flexibility of the unique rotary engine, maintaining a traditional driving feel, yet realizing extremely clean emissions through the use of hydrogen.

The Renesis Hydrogen Rotary Engine capitalizes on the advantages of the rotary engine to assure the same ease-of-operation and reliability whether the engine is running on gasoline or hydrogen fuel. Moreover, since the engine requires modifications to run on hydrogen, it could enable production of a relatively low-cost hydrogen-powered alternative-fuel vehicle. The engine has been developed with a dual-fuel system, allowing it to run on either gasoline or hydrogen, as Mazda believes desirable, flexible automotive choices will help effectively promote the usage of hydrogen fuel and the development of a supporting infrastructure.
